Hospitality NCV (TEMP):

Location: Roodepoort campus

Requirements for Hospitality NCV Vacancies:

Qualification:

3 years diploma in Hospitality

Additional Gains:

 In-depth knowledge of the diploma or Department or Industry will be an advantage and an additional gain to apply for the post.

Communication Skills:

  •  Strong proficiency in English communication (both written and spoken), exceptional organizational and planning abilities, and effective administrative skills.
  • Capability to assess students’ progress and offer constructive feedback in an unbiased and professional manner.

Duties of Hospitality NCV (TEMP) Post:

  • The primary objective is to support the overall academic and professional growth of students. This involves:
  • – Developing lesson plans and teaching students in accordance with the College’s Annual Academic Plan, Campus timetable, and Quality Management System.
  • Evaluating students, keeping assessment records, and electronically recording grades are essential tasks aligned with the College’s policies and procedures.
  •  Creating a positive and productive classroom environment while effectively managing student behavior is crucial.
  • -Regular communication and collaboration with the Senior Lecturer and Student Support Officers are necessary for providing students with appropriate support and interventions.
  •  Distributing textbooks and student materials, as well as maintaining accurate records, are part of the responsibilities.
  • -Closely monitoring and managing student attendance and organizing job placements and excursions to enhance students’ practical experiences.

Transport and Logistics NCV (TEMP) Vacancies

Job Title: Transport and Logistics – NC (V) (Temp)

Requirements for Transport and Logistics NCV (TEMP):

Qualification:

  •  A recognized 3-year Degree/Diploma qualification with specialization in the specific field of study and a comprehensive understanding the subject matter.

Additional Benefits:

  • Being registered with the council will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in teaching subjects related to Transport and Logistics (such as Freight Logistics, Transport Operations, Transport Economics, and Entrepreneurship). Having knowledge in Project Management will be advantageous.

Communication Abilities:

  • Excellent abilities in English communication (both written and spoken), robust organizational, planning, and administrative proficiencies.

Duties of Transport and Logistics NCV (TEMP) Post:

  • Support students in their overall academic and professional growth. This involves:
  •  Developing educational plans and teaching students according to the College’s Annual Academic Plan, Campus timetable, and Quality Management System.
  •  Evaluating students, keeping track of their assessments, and digitally recording their grades following the College’s guidelines.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment, managing the classroom effectively, and ensuring student discipline.
  •  Collaborating with the Senior Lecturer and Student Support Officers to offer necessary support to students.
  •  Distributing textbooks and student materials, maintaining proper records.
  • Tracking and monitoring student attendance and arranging internships and field trips for students.

Qualification:

Possess a recognized 3-year Degree/Diploma qualification with a specialization in the relevant field of study.A keen observation of the subject should be madel.

Communication Skills:

Excellent skills in English, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational, planning, and administrative abilities. It is essential to have the ability to observe students’ progress and provide valuable feedback in an impartial and professional way.

Job Responsibilities:

Support and foster the academic and professional growth of students, including:

  • Creating comprehensive lesson plans and delivering instruction to students based on the College’s Annual Academic Plan, Campus timetable, and College Quality Management System.
  • Assessing students’ progress, maintaining accurate assessment records, and electronically recording grades following the College’s policies and procedures.
  • Creating a positive learning environment, ensuring effective classroom management, and enforcing student discipline.
  • Providing regular updates and collaborating with the Senior Lecturer and Student Support Officers to offer necessary interventions and support to students.
  • Distributing textbooks and relevant learning materials to students, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitoring and managing student attendance, as well as arranging job placements and educational outings to enhance practical experiences for students.
